This is a commission post by Ten (

jesii, also known as Nyans

nyansarts) and is very specifically only for commissions of characters undergoing some kind of transformation (usually as a result of RP or AUs) that results in them looking a bit more... monstrous... than their canonical appearance.

This includes things like characters gaining wings, scales, fur, horns, becoming more animalistic, bestial, gaining limbs, etc. etc. You don't have to be playing in a DWRP monster game like

route666rp to commission me, but this type of commission is very clearly geared towards that sort of vibe.

I am only interested in drawing 'monster' versions of characters at this time, so I won't be taking commissions of plain ol' humans! (If your character canonically already looks quite inhuman, I might say ok.)

What's on offer?

Character reference sheets (full-colour)

Base reference sheet (1x full-body + 1-2 extra details + colour palette + text): US$90

Add-ons to the base reference:

extra details (e.g. close up of claws, horns, etc.): US$10 each
partial-body views (e.g. bust, back view of torso): US$55 each
full-body views (e.g. side view, back view): US$80 each
- Each additional full-body comes with 1 extra detail at no charge

Character art (full-colour)

Busts: US$55

Full-body: US$80

If you want me to design the monsterised version of your character (please let me design monsters), there will be no extra charge. Please provide text descriptions of what you want and if relevant, provide links to references or artwork that have the look or vibe of what you'd like.

If you don't have a visual reference for an OC (or character from a non-visual medium) and want me to design their appearance from a text description + visual inspirations, there will be an additional fee; non-monstrous character design is difficult work for me and much more time consuming. Fees for character design are as follows:

design for a bust: US$25
design for a full-body: US$50

For all commissions you will receive:

an un-watermarked .PNG of commissioned art with a simple background (at least 1500x1500px, possibly larger depending on order)
an un-watermarked .PNG of commissioned art with a transparent background
I can provide a smaller sized copies (e.g. for icons) upon request

I am only offering full-colour because that's what I want to work on.

FAQ

What will you / won't you draw?
OCs/characters from a non-visual medium are ok but as mentioned earlier, will have an additional fee if you want me to do their character design.

Heavily armoured and robotic (or otherwise visibly mechanical) characters are ok and have no additional charge. However, please note the turnaround time might be slower as they're not my forte.

Furries are a-ok!

I will not draw NSFW i.e. no genitals. Tits are fine.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission.

Payment is 100% up front via PayPal invoice. Prices are in USD but other currencies are negotiable.

What's your turnaround time?
I aim for within a month after I receive payment; I work a full time job, draw a webcomic that updates weekly, and stream twice a week on Twitch, so naturally my time to work on commissions is very limited.

What can I use your art for?

You may use my art for personal use. Cropping or modifying the art for icons, banners, profile pictures, etc. that's ok. Going to the local printers so you can print a poster of my art to hang up in your room, that's ok, too. Basically, you can make stuff for yourself with my art but don't sell it.
You may not use my art for NFTs or use in genAI software in any way, shape, or form. Just don't.
You may not use my art for commercial profit (e.g. don't make merch using my art, thanks).

What's the commission process?

You send me your commission request either by commenting to this post, DMing this journal, or e-mailing me at nyansarts@gmail.com using the Order Form below.
I draw a very rough sketch for your review. This is the best time to tell me you want to make major changes. That includes things like changing design details, pose changes, clothing changes, etc.
After I receive your approval of the sketch, I send an invoice to you.
After you have paid my invoice in full, I begin work on the commissioned art.
I send you a progress update when I'm about halfway done.
When I have completed the art, I will send you the finished piece. If there's a minor error in the final piece (e.g. The eye-colour is incorrect, I forgot to draw a scar, etc.) please don't hesitate to get in touch so I can make the correction!

Unless otherwise requested, I will post the finished piece on social media and add you to a ping/mailing list for the next time I open commissions.

No refunds unless I am unable to complete your commission.
